The interior temperature sensor is a vital part of the automatic air conditioning system.

It is able to measure the interior temperature at any given moment and can send the data to the air conditioning system. The air conditioning system is able to adjust the temperature according to the wishes of the driver.

If the interior temperature sensor is defective the air conditioning system is not able to work as intended. It will also issue a diagnostic trouble code to the board computer.

The cause of failure can be pollution, corrosion or broken cables.
